Is Your Tour Actually Free?
Free Walking Tour Manchester is actually free, although tips are warmly welcomed and very much appreciated. We understand that some people are not always in a position to offer payment so you can pay appropriately according to your circumstances.

Our start point is at the Chinese arch which you will find on Faulkner Street in Chinatown!

Free Walking Tour Manchester takes a route that starts at Chinese arch and a photo opportunity, walks via the Gay Village and shows you some splendid pieces of architecture, explaining some fascinating anecdotes and uncovering the history of Manchester, ending near the Cathedral with another photo opportunity! 
How Long Does The Tour Last?
Free Walking Tour Manchester lasts between 3 hours and 3 and a half hours taking into account different group sizes and how quick or slow people walk. 
Are Private Tours / Group Tours Available?

How Accessible Is The Tour?
Free Walking Tour Manchester is accessible to able bodied people and less abled alike. Wheelchair users are welcome as well as anybody happy enough to push a pram or buggy along. 
Can I Bring Children Along?
Of course you can! We welcome all ages on our tour and it’s always a delight to show children around our wonderful city! 
Can I Bring My Pet?
Pets are very welcome – we love animals, but only bring well behaved animals please 
Are Tours Available In Different Languages?
At the moment, tours are only available in English. But we aim to offer more languages in the near future.
Do Tours Run In All Weathers?
Unless weather conditions are extreme, our guides always work on sunny and rainy days. As long as it is safe, our tours run every day. 
It’s always a good idea to check the weather conditions in advance and wear a comfortable and proper outfit.
